As part of our determination to restore our health (especially mine), Gordon and I visited my brother and sister-in-law in Arlington, TX. The last time I was healed, it was Mike who had prayed for me. I didn’t stay healed that time, so, we decided to try again.

Karan and I decided to make 2010 the year of Restoration for us. We decided this would be the year we quit waiting for healing to come, or for wealth to arrive from some unknown source, so we can finally enjoy the retired life we desire.

Monday, I received word that my brother Ronnie had died from complications of having a defibrillator implanted in his chest.
The memorial service was held at his home church in the Fort Worth area on Wednesday. It was a wonderful service, and of course, I saw many family members I hadn’t seen in years.

I finally got a new hairdo yesterday.
Because it is shorter, it will be easier to take care of. Not fancy, but I like it, at least for the time being.
